On February 16, 2018, the 26th of July award was granted to five best students, at the Rectorate of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, from the funds of the Mur-Munning Trust.
Since 1980, the award has been traditionally granted to the best students from six faculties in the filed of social sciences, architecture and arts.
The rector of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Prof. Dr Nikola Jankulovski granted the award to the following five best students in the academic 2016/2017, proposed by the respective faculties: Sara Spasova (9,97) from the Faculty of Philosophy, Teodora Josifovska (9,93) from Blazhe Koneski Faculty of Philology, Merzhan Gjunter (9,90) from the Faculty of Economics, Damjan Gjorgievski (9,85) from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Sanja Avramoska (9,66) from the Faculty of Architecture. Due to technical reasons, a student from Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law was not awarded with the 26th of July award.
On the official ceremony of awarding, the vice-rectors of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, the members of the Rector’s Board as well as the University Senate members were also present. Furthermore, the event was covered by representatives from the media.
