The Rector is a managerial body of the University. The rector represents and stands proxy for the University in the country and abroad. The rights, duties and responsibilities of the rector are stipulated by the University Statute.

- President of the Consortium of the European Information and Innovation Centre in Macedonia
- Member of the state commission for bio-medically assisted fertilization
- Member of the national commission for UNESCO in the Republic of Macedonia
- Member of the Steering Committee and Advisory Board, European Enterprise Network, European Commission, Brussels
- President of the Interuniversity Conference of the Republic of Macedonia
Previous functions:
- Vice-dean and acting dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
- Acting director of the Institute of Biomedicine within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
- Head of the Institute of Experimental Animals within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
- President of the Association of Biologists of the Republic of Macedonia
- Secretary-General of the Balkan School of Ultrasound
- Vice-rector for Science
- President of the Rectors’ Conference of the Public Universities in the Republic of Macedonia
Publishing activity:
- Author of over 160 works published in the country and abroad, participation in congresses and symposiums;
- Author of 2 textbooks and 1 teaching aid, co-author of seven monographs;
- Coordinator/participant in 16 scholar and research projects
